About Me
Dr. Jie Zhi is currently a research professor at the School of Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics, Tongji University since March 2023. Prior to this, he worked as a research fellow at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore, and he earned his Ph.D. degree from the same department in 2020. He also holds M.Eng. and B.Eng. degrees in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics from Beihang University. His research interests are mainly in mechanical characterization of fiber-reinforced composites, process modeling in composites manufacturing, and advanced computational methods.
